Biography
Thanks to his distinctive musical language and highly individual interpretations, Robert Jindra ranks among the leading Czech conductors of his generation.
He is Music Director of the National Theatre Opera in Prague.
He has appeared at leading opera houses and festivals including the Vienna State Opera, the Bavarian State Opera, Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Bregenzer Festspiele, Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, Oper Frankfurt, the Semperoper Dresden, the Aalto Music Theatre and Essen Philharmonic, Oper Graz, and the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo.
His forthcoming engagements include his debut at the Theater an der Wien.
